Taking standardized tests is challenging at the best of times. There are also all kinds of expectations from friends and family that can make the process stressful and an emotional roller-coaster.
Then, of course, there is all kinds of advice from a variety of sources that make things even more confusing and awkward. Who can you trust? What should you do? Where should you start??
This blog is about starting, deliberately practicing, and ultimately finishing the SAT or ACT in a way that makes you feel proud. It is about reaching your potential and knowing that you gave 100%! Pretty much it is about having no regrets. I want you, after you have taken your final SAT or ACT, to walk out of the test and whisper to yourself “this was my best, and whatever happens I know I tried the hardest I could”. This is the mindset you need to have! This is the mindset that needs to be tattoo’d onto your standardized testing “heart”!
Over the coming weeks and months I will be adding various videos and posts that mainly focus on SAT and ACT reading. I might also delve into other standardized tests, but this will be most of my focus. I hope to share a bit of the knowledge I have, and in doing so inspire you in some way to achieve your best.
